Getting Started with ORCID: Streamlining Attribution and Your Academic Record Online

An ORCID iD (Open Researcher and Contributor ID) is a persistent digital identifier that distinguishes you from other researchers and ensures your professional and research outputs are accurately attributed. It also works as an online CV, making it a natural complement to the new narrative CV format required by Canada’s Tri‑Agency funding councils. This session will introduce the benefits of ORCID, show you how to create and populate your own ORCID iD and record, and highlight ways to integrate it into your research and publication workflows.
