AI in the Library with Emily Tufts, Catherine Steeves, and Amy Greenberg: Part of the AI Hopes and Fears Discussion Series Online

Libraries have always been early adopters of technology and play a critical role in helping library users navigate increasingly complex information ecosystems. Launched in 2024, the Ontario Council of University Libraries (OCUL) Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning program aims to promote responsible, ethical AI use in the academic library environment.

Join Catherine Steeves, Program Director for OCUL’s AI and Machine Learning Program, along with Amy Greenberg, OCUL Executive Director and Emily Tufts, Trent’s University Librarian to learn more about four pilot projects and a capacity building program that will leverage AI tools to make library services and collections more accessible and responsive to the evolving needs of scholars.
